Am Ende von Loch Duich gelegen, sehr idyllisch zu Fuessen der 5 Sisters of Kintail. Ganz in der N\u00e4he liegt das Eilean Donan Castle, welches durch Hollywood bekannt wurde.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ausstattung:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rezeption ist der kleine Shop\/Tankstelle an der A87.
Hartstellplaetze mit Strom und zwei Wiesen fuer Zelte. Autos sind auf dem Gras nicht erlaubt, aber der Weg ist breit genug fuer beidseitiges Parken in Reihe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Der Platz ist bei Windstille ein Midgeparadies, allerdings kann Glen Shiel auch ein Windtunnel sein und trotz der umliegenden Baeume und halbwegs geschuetzter Lage kann es sehr stuermisch werden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
